Watkins serves as President of Watkins & Sons Funeral Service, Inc. and is a licenced funeral director. He also serves as Immediate Past President of the Missouri Funeral Directors Association and is active in his local community. He is presently serving as Missouri's representative on the National Funeral Directors Association Policy Board and the NFDA PAC. In 2006, he received his Certified Funeral Service Practitioner status from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice.

He has not only attended mortuary school but has attended the Fountain National Acadamy of embalming techniques. The Fountain National Acadamy conducts training for embalmers from not only the United States but from around the world. Mr. Fountain, the owner, provides training at state association as well as the National Funeral Directors Association meetings. Darrell's committment to his profession makes him an integral part of the team at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service.

Richard T. Watkins "In Loving Memory" December 6, 1958 - March 31, 2007 Richard was Vice-president of Watkins & Sons Funeral Service and was a licensed embalmer and funeral director. He was Past-president of the Southeast Missouri Funeral Directors Association and was also active in his community. More Info
