Betty Jane Cato of Puxico, Missouri was born to the late William Herman and Lillie Mae (Whisenant) Bowling on September 18, 1937 in Clinton, Arkansas. She went to her heavenly home, peacefully and surrounded by her family, on August 15, 2021 at the age of 83 years. Betty was married to Leroy William Cato on November 10, 1956 in Brownwood, Missouri. Betty worked for Ozark Border Electric and retired in 2002. She attended the Asherville Church of Christ Church in Asherville, Missouri and was a strong Christian role model throughout her life. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. Betty's family says she was the kindest person anyone could hope to meet. She always had a smile to share and never complained about life's circumstances. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her. Betty is survived by her son Randy Cato (DiNae) of Puxico, Missouri; one grandchild, Brooke and one great grandchild Raycen; two brothers J.W. Bowling (Eula Ann) of Dexter, Missouri and Jim Bowling (Carolyn) of Puxico, Missouri. A host of family and friends also survive. There will be a private family service. And no other arrangements pending. Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
