Bea McKillip

Bernice McKillip of Cauthersville, daughter of the late Erick and Antonia Uishener Lindblad, was born in Mitchell, South Dakota on May 30, 1921, and passed away at the Cypress Point Nursing Home in Dexter on May 12, 2020, at the age of 98 years, 11 months and 12 days. She had lived in Mitchell South Dakota, Iowa, and Hamilton Missouri, this area since 1971. She was an office manager for her husband, Dr. VE McKillip. She married Dr. VE McKillip on June 24, 1942 in Sioux City Iowa. Bea enjoyed sewing and was with the Auxiliary at Dexter Hospital and in Red Cross Blood Drives. Bea also attended The First United Methodist Church in Dexter. Surviving her, three sons and daughter in law, Douglas (Rose) McKillip of Caruthersville, David McKillip of Springdale, Arkansas, and Dan McKillip of Fremont Hills, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her one brother, Albin Lindbald, three sisters Ester Thurman, Mabel McEntee, and Florence Stechman. There are no Services planned at this time.
