Ben McRoy

Ben E. McRoy, age 55 of Florissant, MO passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home. He was born September 24, 1959 in St Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn J. McRoy; his parents John W. and Elizabeth G. (Klee) McRoy; and two sisters Donna Bunch and Shirley McRoy. Ben served in the United States Army for 18 years and was honorably discharged. He was a man that always had to be doing something around his house or yard. He enjoyed many things throughout his life like fishing, hunting, spending time with family, friends, and his dogs. He would go out of his way to help out in any way he could for anyone. He had the biggest heart of anyone you could know. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor and privilege to know him. Survived by two brothers; Elmer (Ada) McRoy and Robert (Elaine) McRoy, three step children, Vickie Cooper, Susan Vanwinkle, Bobby Vanwinkle; many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Significant other Michelle Berthelot. We have chosen cremation and a small memorial service will be held at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri, on July 27, 2015 from 10:00 am until noon. Instead of flowers donations would be appreciated and may be made to Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home to help with the memorial service.
