Betty Lou Denny
Betty Lou Denny was born February 28, 1955, in Gideon, Missouri, to the late Raymond and Lois (Snider) Nolin, and passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 70 years old.
On January 12, 1974, Betty and Larry were united in marriage at the Duck Creek Church and he survives in the home. Betty received her GED and later she worked at the Stoddard County Justice Center as a Circuit Clerk. Betty lived in this area most of her adult life and also lived in St Louis. She attended Puxico First General Baptist Church. Betty was always happy to help out when she could..she visited nursing homes, hospitals, if someone was feeling ill she would go and take them food to help them out. She enjoyed making people feel better and maybe put a smile on their face. Her family was important to her and she loved her grandchildren and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving family include: 2 sons, Christopher Keith Denny of Puxico, Missouri, and Jason Michael Denny of Puxico, Missouri, 2 grandchildren, Austin Keith Denny and Ashton Nolin Denny. She also had 1 sister, Tammy Farris of Puxico, Missouri.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Billy Nolin, Johnny Nolin, and Donald Nolin, and 1 sister Barb Baker.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Pastor Kenneth Lambert officiating.
Burial will follow immediately after at The Fairview Cemetery.
