Betty Fowler

Betty Jo Fowler, daughter of the late Freddie Leroy and Betty Sue Houltzhouser Kenshalo , was born in Essex, Missouri on December 19, 1951, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on April 29, 2014, at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 10 days. She had lived in southeast Missouri her entire life, and Dexter for the last 30 years. In 1973, she was married to Jerry Daniel Fowler. He preceded her in death in January 2014. Surviving are one son, Jerry Fowler of Dexter, Missouri; two grandchildren, Dylan Fowler of Dexter and Jazmyn Fowler of Dexter and three sisters, Shelia Brown of Dexter, Missouri, Terry Cobb of Bloomfield, Missouri, and Laura Jane Cruttenden of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Williams. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Mike Kohlbaker of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
