Bruce Edward Mann of Puxico, Missouri, the son of the late James Francis and Geraldine (Singleton) Mann was born on December 19, 1955, in Newport, Kentucky, and passed away on March 31, 2023, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 67.
Bruce moved back to Puxico in 1992 after living and serving as a soldier in the U.S. Army until his retirement. Bruce was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and collecting coins. He really enjoyed spending time with family spoiling his grandchildren. He also loved watching television.
Bruce was first married to Betty Lucille Jackson on February 28, 1976 in Puxico, Missouri. Choices we make in life often alter our lives, so he remarried the love of his life on June 9,1990 at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Stoddard County and remained married until her passing in August of 2021.
Bruce is survived by two sons, James (Jennifer) Mann of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; Gary (Tonna) Mann of Puxico; one sister Francis Short; four grand children and three great grand children as well as a host of family and friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers Jerry, Jim and Eddie Mann.
Visitation Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow the Watkins And Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri, with Pastor Tim Russell officiating..
Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield , Missouri, with Watkins And Sons of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
