Charles Clayton Glass

Charles Clayton Glass was born on September 7, 1942, to the late Murl and Ruth (Carter) Glass in Parma, Missouri and passed away on December 18, 2025, in Matthews, Missouri at the age of 83.

On September 1, 1997, Charles and Vicky were united in marriage in Bloomfield, Missouri and she survives of the home.

Charles was a resident of Southeast Missouri for the entirety of his life and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri and enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with his family. He was always willing to help others in their time of need.

Charles is survived by his wife, Vicky Glass, of Dexter, Missouri, and his 3 daughters, Whitney (Jesse) Barnes of Essex, Missouri, Kim (Tim) Bowling, of Chaffee, Missouri, and Tina Bowling, as well as several grandchildren including Atlas, Ainsley, and Arlo Barnes, several great grandchildren, a sister, Brenda (Danny) Miles, of Henderson, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Carl Gene Glass, and Billy Gene Glass and 2 sisters, Helen Diane Glass and Charlene Glass-Litton.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri, beginning at 9 A.M, with the funeral to follow at 10 A.M.  Burial will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri.
