Charlotte Lillian Winson of Bloomfield, Missouri, daughter of the late Claude P. and Alliene (Harris) Blount was born April 13, 1935, in DeKalb, Illinois, and passed from this life on June 14, 2023, in Puxico, Missouri, at the age of 88.
Charlotte has lived in this area since 2011. She had lived prior in the Shelbyville and DeKalb, Illinois, area. She was a member of the Masters Touch Pentecostal Church of Bloomfield.
Charlotte had many interests in her life like reading anything, word search puzzles, crossword, embroidering, keeping her house, but mainly loved spending time with her family. Charlotte never met a stranger and was a member of the VFW.
She is survived by two sons, Carl (Linda) Tudor of Bloomfield; Curtis Tudor of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; five daughters, Diana Groce, Laura Williamson, Teresa Groce and Ava (Jesse) Walker all of Indianapolis, Indiana; Virginia Simmons of Bloomfield, Missouri; several grand and great grandchildren; one brother, Eugene Eberly of Sycamore, Illinois; one sister, Eloise Westlake of St. Charles, Missouri; as well as a host of family and friends.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her son Charles Bauer; and a brother, Joseph Eberly; four sisters, Betty Tewksbury, Evelyn Burger, Geraldine Butler and Marylyn.
Visitation service will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, with service to follow at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico, Missouri, with Pastor Tyler Wilkinson of Bloomfield officiating.
Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri, with Watkins and Sons Funeral of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
