Christine Elizabeth Wilson

Christine Elizabeth Clark Wilson, the daughter of the late Everett Lee and Mary Inez Hopkins Clark, was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on August 30, 1924, and passed away at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri on March 6, 2007, at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 4 days. Mrs. Wilson had live in the Catron, Missouri area all her life. She was a member of the Pleasant View General Baptist Church in Risco, Missouri. On November 1, 1945, she was married to William Clyde Wilson in New Madrid, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1982. Surviving are William Wilson, Glen Wilson, Sr., Glen Wilson, Jr. all of Catron, Missouri, Darrell Wilson, Sr. of Malden, Missouri; one daughter, Rita Harris, Okolona, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Bea Forbes of Wellsville, Missouri, Gussie James of St. Louis, Missouri and Bonnie Kirk of Malden, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Mae Clark, and three brothers, LeRoy Clark, Daley Clark, and Earl Clark. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Mark Powell of Risco, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
