Deborah Gay Sanders was born on November 23, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Virgil and Goldie (Woodland) Shoemake and passed away on July 24, 2025 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 67.
On January 26, 1974, Deborah Shoemake and Terry Sanders were united in marriage in St. Charles, Missouri and he survives of the home.
Deborah lived in Southeast Missouri for the majority of her life and was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed quilt making, embroidering, and taking care of her grandchildren.
Surviving family include her loving husband of over 50 years, Terry Sanders, of Bloomfield, Missouri, her children, Phillip Joe Sanders and Travis James Sanders, both of Bloomfield, Missouri, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
The visitation will be on Saturday, August 2, 2025, beginning at 12 P.M. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
