Debra Sherrion Alaniz

          Debra Sherrion Alaniz, 70 of Puxico, Missouri, passed from this life on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  
          The daughter of the late James David Ray and Wilma Bernice Hamlin was born on December 20, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri. 
          Debra has spent most of her life in Puxico, Missouri.  She was of the Christian Faith.  She loved yard sailing and reading. 
          She is survived by her parents, and life long partner, Barry Kime;  one son, Shannon (Michelle) Alaniz of Imperial, Missouri; one daughter,  Elisa Hobbs of Bloomfield, Missouri; two sisters, Vickie Parker of Wichata, Kansas and Dava Ray of Puxico, Missouri; seven  grandchildren and seven great grandchildren as well as a host of family and friends.   
          Debra was proceeded in death by her grandson, Kyle Alaniz; her grandaughters, Willow Moore and Olive Moore.
          Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico, Missouri, with Brother Matt Mitchell of Puxico officiating with  Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of  arrangements.
