Denzil McClard

Denzil Xavier McClard, son of the late Oscar Dewitt and Stella Wilfong McClard, was born in Puxico, Missouri on December 19, 1919, and passed away at the Robing Manor in Brighton, Illinois on June 15, 2015, at the age of 95 years, 5 months and 27 days. He had lived in the Puxico area most of his life. He attended the Duck Creek Baptist Church near Puxico. He was a life member of V.F.W. Post 7822 in Puxico and enjoyed gardening and going to the Puxico Nutrition Center. Surviving are one sister, Pansy Clark of Shipman, Illinois; two nieces, four great nephews and three great nieces. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Clark; and one niece, Valerie Roach. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. V.F.W. services will be at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, with Bro. Buck Cruse of Puxico officiating. Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri, in charge of arrangements.
