Eric Lorren Merideth

Eric Lorren Merideth was born in East St. Louis, Illinois, on January 3, 1968 and passed away on October 1, 2026. He had loving parents, Dallas Leamon Sr. and Mary Lou Merideth.

Eric lived in the area for more than 40 years, where he made and kept many friends. He was deeply loved by his family, friends, and caregivers, Eric will be missed.

Eric was a Baptist and a devoted Cardinals fan, Eric made sure everyone knew which team had his heart. He enjoyed watching television, especially Western movies, and loved horses. He also loved painting with his hands and participating in the Special Olympics, competing in the 50-yard dash, Kan Jam, and shot put.

Eric is survived by his brother, Kenneth Merideth of Missouri; his sisters, Janet (Larry) Bieber of Columbia, Illinois, and Bonnie Satterfield of Fisk, Missouri; and many friends and caregivers who meant so much to him. His family is grateful for the wonderful people who cared for Eric and for the love they showed him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas Leamon Sr. and Mary Lou Merideth; his brother, Dallas Merideth Jr.; and his sisters, Susan Moore and Barbara Arras.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk, Missouri.

Eric will be remembered for his love of the Cardinals, the joy he found in his interests, and the many friendships he built. He was so loved and will be dearly missed.
