Evelyn Groves

Evelyn Groves, 67, of Bloomfield, Missouri passed away June 30, 2020 at the Bloomfield Living Center, in Bloomfield. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Virgil and Versie Blocker Lewis, she was born in Hiram, Missouri on April 12, 1953. She was a cook for restaurants in the area for before being forced to retire. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and her grandchildern. Evelyn is survived by her two daughters and son in laws, Amanda (Steve) Hadley of Bloomfield, Kathy (Jamie) Rought of Advance, Missouri; one son and daughter in law, Darrell (Tamera) Rushing of Orlando, Florida; three sisters Betty Angel, and Leta Bostic both of Bloomfield, Marilyn Lee of North Carolina; one brother Randy Lewis of Bloomfield; She has nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Other family and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020, after 11:00 am at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield until time of services at 12:00 pm with the Terry Sanders of Bloomfield officiating. Interment will be in the Morgan Memorial Cemetery, Advance, Missouri with Watkins and Sons of Bloomfield in charge of the arrangements.
