Gladys Holford

Gladys Faye Holford, daughter of the late Edward Graham and Maggie Irene Back Graham Welch, was born in Bernie, Missouri on December 3, 1934, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on August 3, 2015, at the age of 80 years. She had lived in Bloomfield since 1954. She was a member of the Link Church near Bloomfield. She loved to cook, sing, going to yard sales and collecting angels. On January 20, 1954 she was married to Bob Holdford in Mesa, Arizona. Surviving are her husband, Bob Holford of Bloomfield; two sons and wife, Alan & Ellen Holford of Cape Girardeau, Stephen Holford of Bloomfield; two daughters and husband, Peggy Schroer & Wim Ruyten of Murfreesboror, Tennessee, Linda & Dallas McRoy of Bloomfield; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one great grandson, three brothers and two sisters. Friends may visit on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow at the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
