Ora Janice McCollom of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Lester and Mildred Hudgens Stoker, was born in Dexter, Missouri on December 29, 1941, and passed away at the Bloomfield Living Center in Bloomfield on April 12, 2020, at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 14 days.
She had lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She had attended the Hill General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
On September 26, 1958 she married James Ernest McCollom in Bloomfield. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2007.
Surviving are four sons and wives, Ernest McCollom, James “Bo” and Sherry McCollom, Randy and Kathy McCollom, Frank and Kelly McCollom all of Bloomfield; four grandchildren, Randall and Matt McCollom both of Bloomfield, Amanda Emery and Chelsea McCollom both of Bloomfield; seven great grandchildren, Braden and Braleigh McCollom, James Michael, Landen, Colten and Westen Emery all of Bloomfield and Andrew Hueckel of Puxico; two brothers, Lonnie and Robert Stoker both of Dexter; three sisters, Marge Rickman and Rachel Weaver both of Dexter and Kay Marsh of Prescott, Arizona. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with the Rev. Gary Teel of Dexter officiating.
Interment will follow at the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
