Kenneth "Kenny" Dean McClure, a dedicated member of the 1107 Laborers Union of Cape Girardeau, has peacefully passed away on June 15 2024, in Cape Girardeau. Born on October 8, 1961, in Poplar Bluff, to Lloyd Dean and Louanna (Hoover) McClure, he attended Puxico High School.
During his life, Kenny was known for his passion for playing pool and his unwavering love for spending quality time with his family, especially spoiling his grandchildren. His warm personality and caring nature touched the lives of many.
Kenny is survived by his significant other, Pam Reynolds of Puxico; three sons, Kenneth and Samantha McClure of Wappapello, Missouri, Lloyd McClure and Kerry McClure both of Puxico; six grandchildren; one brother, Dale McClure of Puxico; one sister, Debra and James Lewis of Puxico; and a close personal friend, Nicole Holloway of Puxico.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Dean McClure and Louanna Hoover McClure, as well as three brothers, Sam, Chuck, and Ron McClure.
A visitation to honor Kenny's life will be held at Watkins Funeral Homes in Puxico on June 20, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at the same location starting at 1:00 PM. The address is 301 N Hickman St, Puxico, MO 63960 with Pastor Johnny Buttry of Puxico officiating. Internment to follow at Puxico Cemetery with Watkins and Sons in charge of all arrangements.
In the hearts of those who knew him best, Kenny's memory will forever be cherished. He will be remembered for his kind spirit and the joy he brought to all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
