Larry Jennings was born November 23, 1945 to the late Paul and Estelle (Garner) Jennings and gained his angel wings on March 9, 2026. He was 80 years old.
Larry was a lifelong farmer who dedicated much of his life to raising livestock. In addition to farming, he also served his community through his work with the United States Postal Service. Larry was known as a neighbor to all—always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors at a moment's notice.
Larry was deeply committed to his community and served many years as a member of the Bell City R-2 School Board, where he worked to support and improve education for local families.
On February 22, 1976, Larry married the love of his life, Jenny. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and hard work. Larry and Jenny shared 50 loving years together, raising their children and creating countless cherished memories.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Jenny Jennings of the home; his son, Ron (Tonya) Chapman of Corydon, Kentucky; and his daughter, Cheri (Jeanette) Chapman of Bell City, Missouri. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Steven Chipman and Stephanie Chapman, and his great-grandchild, Ryan Patterson, who will continue to carry his memory forward.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Estelle (Garner) Jennings, as well as one brother and two sisters.
Larry will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his dedication to his family and community, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
