Leslie Dean Flanery

Leslie Dean Flanery Sr.

      Leslie Dean Flanery Sr. was born December 16, 1952, in Bernie, Missouri, to the late Woodford Kirk and Ruth (Johnson) Flanery, and passed away on April 12, 2025, in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 72 years old.

      Leslie lived most of his life in the surrounding area, 30 plus years, and also lived in Texas, Illinois, Iowa and Kentucky. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish. He was also a member of the Lighthouse Church in Dexter, Missouri.

      Surviving family include, 2 sons: Leslie Dean Flanery Jr. of Dexter, Missouri, Shaun Wade Flanery of Dexter, Missouri. Leslie has 3 grandchildren, Charlie Flanery of Dexter, Missouri, Elijah Flanery of Ohio, and Kayla Flanery of Kentucky, 1 great grandchild, Eli Flanery of Ohio. He has 2 brothers of Bernie, Missouri and Corning, Arkansas and 1 sister in Scotty City, Missouri.

      Leslie was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann (Winston) Flanery, one son, Jeff Joseph Flanery, one great granddaughter, Roselyn Flanery, his parents and 7 siblings.

      A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Lighthouse Church in Dexter, Missouri from 1 P.M. to  3 P.M.
