Lois Francis Caldwell of Puxico, daughter of the late Lestie and Minnie Mossman O'Neal, was born December 8, 1927, in Puxico, Missouri and passed away at her home near Puxico on August 23, 2017, at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 15 days. She had lived in Puxico all her life. She was a member of the Corinth General Baptist Church near Puxico, the CC Community Club, was treasurer of the Rock Hill Cemetery for several years and enjoyed sewing and quilting. On January 10, 1948, she married Delmar Loran Caldwell. He preceded her in death on January 17, 1983. Surviving are three sons & wives, Barry & Connie Caldwell and Loran & Carol Caldwell all of Puxico, Jerry & Debbie Caldwell of Dexter; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two brothers & wife, Gene & Dorothy O'Neal and Russell O'Neal both of Puxico; and two sisters & husband, Helen & Bill McCullar of Puxico and Loreda Jansen of Dexter; one daughter in law, Virginia Caldwell of Jefferson Ciy. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Caldwell, one son, Dale Caldwell; grandson, Scott Caldwell; one brother, Freeman L. O'Neal and three sisters, Fernie Julius, Shirley Bolin and Virginia Spears. Friends may call on Saturday, August 26, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Corinth General Baptist Church near Puxico, services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Jimmy Clark of Puxico officiating. Interment will follow at the Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
