Loran E. Pruett of Bloomfield, son of the late Johnny and Mary Osburn Pruett, was born in Bloomfield Missouri, on March 29, 1930, and passed away at his residence in Bloomfield on May 29, 2020, at the age of 90 years.. On March 6, 1954 he was married to Annie E. Gromer in Holly Springs, Mississippi; she precedes him in death on October 24, 2014. He owned and operated Pruett Heating and Air and Plumbing Company until retirement. Loran was a member of the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield. He was a school bus driver for Bloomfield Public School District and he was in the US Army and traveled all over the world for his country. Surviving are his three sons, Brian Pruett of Bloomfield, Clay Pruett of Fairdealing, Missouri; Justin Wade Pruett of Bloomfield; one daughter Joy Chappell of Bloomfield, eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one brother Cletus Pruett of Dexter, two sisters, Freda Waggoner and Lora Lee Cox both of Dexter. Other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by great grandchildren, Dakota Gross, J.T. Wilson and Jerimyah Pruett; two brothers, and three sisters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, from 11:00 am to 12:00 p.m. at the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Dwight Hensley of Bloomfield officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
