Mary Jane Crowe of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Woodrow and Mary Layton DeJournett was born on January 4, 1958, in Dexter, Missouri and passed away at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on September 24, 2020, at the age of 62 years.
She lived most of her life in Bloomfield and attended Bloomfield Assembly of God Church. She worked as a road inspector for the State of Missouri Highway Department. She also liked traveling, cooking, gardening, and family time.
Mary married Brian Crowe Sr. in June, 2004 in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving her is husband, Brian Crowe Sr. of the home; three sons, Woodrow Gensler, of Bloomfield, Harry Gensler Jr. of Jefferson City, Missouri and Brian (Mandy) Crowe Jr. of Dexter; one daughter, Charlotte Samlin of Bloomfield; one brother, Jim Blocker of Bloomfield, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents Woodrow and Mary DeJournett, one brother, Terry DeJournett, two, sisters, Annie Wilkerson, and Shelia Griswell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral service will be held on Monday September 28, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dwight Hensley, of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, with the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Bloomfield, in charge of all the arrangements.
