Michelle Starnes

Bobbi Michelle Starnes of Dexter, daughter of the Bobby and Jo Ann Graham Smithson, was born in Dowagiac, Michigan on March 10, 1971 and passed away at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis on April 19, 2020, at the age of 49 years, 1 month and 9 days. She had lived in the Dexter and Bernie most of her life. Michelle enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a kitchen manager at Hickory Log in Dexter. She was a member of the Essex Baptist Church. On July 19, 2006, she married Randy Lee Starnes, Sr. in Essex, Missouri. Surviving are; husband Randy of the home; one daughter and spouse, Jessica and Darrell Penberthy of Dexter; one son and spouse, Randy and Caira Starnes of Arnold; three grandchildren, Caroline, Jackson and Lydia Penberthy; one great grandchildren, Delaney Penberthy; one sister and spouse, Wendi and Andy Jenkins of Ellisnore; one brother and spouse, Stephen and Tammy Smithson; 6 nephews, Steven and wife Panda, Cody and wife Bradi, Kyle and wife Jenny, Riley Moore, Waylon Moore, Anthony Jenkins, Jr. and 2 nieces; Addyson Moore and Brianna Weems. Other relatives and many friends also survive. . Graveside Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield with Gary Gilbert of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
