Norman Andrew Tanner

      Norman "Andy" Tanner Jr. of Poplar Bluff was born on November 9, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Norman Andrew and Mary Lee (Horton) Tanner Sr. and passed away on July 20, 2025 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 69 years old.

      Norman lived in Missouri all of his life and was of the Baptist faith. After highschool graduation Norman joined the US Army. After serving in the Army, he became a master electrician at ECI in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He loved watching NASCAR, and going hunting.

      Norman is survived by his children: Naomi Brown of Cadet, Missouri, Nathan Hemby of Sikeston, Missouri, 4 grandchildren: Zachary Brown, Jonathan Brown, Nicholas Brown, Ayden Brown, 2 great grandchildren: Tauren and Deliliah, 2 siblings: Richard Tanner of Wappapello, Missouri and Lisa Tanner Brewer of Puxico, Missouri, paternal grandparents: Henry and Cecil Tanner of Puxico, Missouri, and his amazing neighbors: John Sumrall and Kyle Lewis of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

      Norman was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings: John Henry Tanner, Debbie Tanner and MaryAnn Tanner Cookson.

     He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
