Peter S. Rodgers

Peter Shade Rodgers was born on March 30, 1931 to the late Peter S. Rodgers Sr. and Gladis (Hefner) Rodgers in McGee, Missouri and passed away on June 14, 2026 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 95.

Peter lived In Southeast Missouri for the majority of his life and served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in St. Louis, Missouri.

Surviving family include his children, Teresa (Michael) Galina, of St. Louis, Missouri and Gay Lynn of High Ridge, Missouri, as well as 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Burial will follow at the McGee Cemetery in McGee, Missouri.

Watkins and Sons is assisting the family with arrangements.
