      Rita Gail Campo was born February 2, 1946, in Porterville, California, to the late Claude Henry and Flossy Pearl (Foster) Warner, and passed away June 12, 2025, in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 79.


      Rita has lived in this area since 2013, coming from California and Washington State. She was of the religious faith and attended the Dimention Church. Rita loved nature and collected rocks, she loved to bake and loved her animals. She wrote poetry and also had a pet deer. Most of all she loved her family and her grandbabies. She will be greatly missed.


      Rita received her GED and went onto ITT vocational college and retired from as manager of a bakery and was also a professional cake decorator.


      Surviving family include: 1 son, A.J. Campo of Goldendale, Washington and 1 daughter, Rackell Campo of Dexter, Missouri. Rita had 2 grandchildren: Kerri (Aaron) Cole of Malden, Missouri, Nathan (Stephanie) Rice of Dexter, Missouri, 7 great grandchildren: Joy Rice, Jaidon Rice, Bryson Rice, Isaac Rice, Emery Rice, Kaydence Cole, and William Cole. 2 siblings: Sherry DeVaul of Goldendale, Washington and Larry Warner of Fayetteville, Arkansas.


      Rita was preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings: Albert Warner, Lorene Saling, Ida LaVada Ziegler, Joyce Mosley, Keith Warner and 1 grandson, Johnathon Rice.
