Vicki Jo Williamson Tucker, the daughter of Wilma Ruth Dunn Williamson and the late Billy Marion Willamson, was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on June 18, 1951, and passed away in Castalian Springs, Tennessee on February 23, 2006, at the age of 54 years, 8 months and 5 days. She was raised in Essex, Missouri and was a member of the Essex Assembly of God Church. She had moved to Cape Girardeau, Missouri and spent many years there where she became a R.N. She worked at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in the labor and delivery department. She later worked at the Cape County Public Health Department as a public health and home health nurse. She moved to Indiana in 1989, where she received a bachelor degree in business and worked as case manager with an insurance company. She moved back to Missouri in 1997 to be near her family. Surviving are one daughter, Jill Beth Tucker of Columbus, Mississippi; one son, Shannon Tucker of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; her mother, Wilma Ruth Williamson of Essex, Missouri; one granddaughter, Haley Brook Tucker of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two brothers, Don Mark Williamson of Gonzales, Louisiana, Billy Dean Williamson of Essex, Missouri; and one sister, Sharon Lee Platipodis of St. Louis, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister in infancy. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 24, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. David Schaffner of Cape Girardeau, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
