Vivian Pauline Duncan of Dexter, daughter of late Theodore and Cleola VanBibber Duncan, was born in Dexter on May 2, 1929, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter on March 15, 2020, at the age of 90 years, 10 months and 13 days.
She was a life long resident of Dexter and had worked at Elders Manufacturing and then the Brown Shoe Company as a seamstress. She had volunteered for the A.R.C. and the Dexter Museum.
Surviving are four sisters, Remona Plummer of Aquilla, Lenora Bishop and Marlene Lindsey both of Dexter, Norma Gromer of Union, and many loving nieces and nephews. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Duncan and one brother, James Lee Duncan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020, after 11:00 am at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter until time of services at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Dale Holman of Dexter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter will be in charge of all the arrangements.
