William John Harty

     William John Harty of Wappapello, Missouri, son of Larry Edwin Harty and Catherine Elaine Agnus (Whelan) Harty was born on November 26, 1980, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and passed from this life on February 21, 2023, at his home in Wappapello, Missouri, at the age of 42 years, 2 months and 26 days. 
     William spent most of his life in the Southeast Missouri area.  He attended Richmond Chapel in Wappapello. William enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering with cars, watching the Cardinals play, writing poetry and most of all spending time with family and friends.  He worked in maintenance at the State Park. 
     William is survived by his mother; two daughters, Cali Harty of Puxico, Missouri, and Elizabeth Harty of Wappapello, Missouri; one son, Daylan Harty of Puxico, Missouri; one brother, David Harty of Wappapello, Missouri; one sister, Eva Harty of Wappapello, Missouri;  many loving nieces and nephews as well as a host of family and friends.
     He was proceeded in death by his father.
     Visitation  service will be Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with Memorial Service to follow at the Watkins And Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico, Missouri, with Watkins And Sons Funeral of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
